EDSAT

Delivery model

A program that runs across the year, not a workshop that ends in a day

The heart of EDSAT is the Shift phase: 40 training hours across two stages, separated by a full term of field application supported by coaching and learning communities.

40
hours of integrated training
125+
teaching strategies
5
pillars of cooperative learning

01 Structure

Program structure

  1. Stage One 16 hours

    Foundation

The five pillars of cooperative learning, the ten keys, 24 foundational strategies, classroom management, and how the brain learns.

  2. Field Application One full term

    Practice

Real classroom implementation, on-site coaching visits, and professional learning communities discussing practice weekly.

  3. Stage Two 24 hours

    Deepening

Deepening practice, advanced strategies, and reaching 125+ strategies across the full system.

02 Support

Coaching & professional learning communities

Between the two training stages, teachers are never left alone. The coach visits classrooms, observes real strategy implementation, and gives constructive individual feedback, not supervisory evaluation.

In parallel, professional learning communities (PLCs) meet regularly: teachers share their experiences, discuss what worked and what stalled, and plan the next week. Professional development shifts from an individual event to a collective practice.

Internal coach development

During the program we nominate and qualify a group of the school’s strongest teachers to become internal coaches: trained in classroom observation, feedback, and leading learning communities. They are the ones who keep improvement going after we leave.
